Total amount spent, and amount spent per capita in 2019, 2020 and year to date in 2021 within the geographical jurisdiction of the City of Portland on:
- Public schools (per student) in the
- Houseless individuals (per houseless person)
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Based on our initial research, *we have some clarifying questions about
your request*. Specifically, I see that you submitted this to Portland
Public Schools (PPS) and the City of Portland simultaneously. Can you
clarify which portion of this request you are requesting from Portland
Public Schools? And, where you seek amounts spent on "houseless
individuals" please clarify what you mean.
As for spending, PPS can only provide information on our own spending.
Copies of our annual budgets back to 2006 are available online here:
https://www.pps.net/Domain/214. If the information you're seeking is not in
the budget, please let me know.
For spending information from other Portland-area districts, you should
submit this request to those districts directly.
