Pursuant to the Maine Freedom of Access Act, I hereby request the following records:
Correspondence (Emails, Text Messages, Written Communication) from 05/01/2023-08/30/2023 regarding the following keywords: Hutchins Drive, Stroudwater Trail, Cruising, Plain Clothes Officers, Grindr.
Police Reports between the same timeframe of 05/01/2023-08/30/2023 regarding any incidents of males being arrested for: "Cruising", propositioning sexual advances to an officer, Indecent exposure that an officer personally witnessed, having sexual relations in a public setting.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as we believe this request is in the public interest, as suggested but not stipulated by 1 M.R.S.A. § 408(6). The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, and is not made for commercial usage.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thanks for your inquiry. Your request was added to a substantial queue of FOAA requests received by the City of Portland. The search for the terms you've specified is under way, and will be followed by legal review to determine what we are allowed to release under Maine law. I anticipate completion of your request in the next two weeks or so, but have allowed for additional time due to the holiday and other scheduled time off.
