S.education curriculum (Providence Public Schools)

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Rhode Island Access to Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

· A copy of the standard curriculum currently used for sexual education throughout the school district. If there is different standard curricula for different grade levels, I would like all of those individual curricula.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Hi Paxtyn,

Hope all is well! I work at MuckRock and we wanted to let you know that we had to change the title for this particular FOIA request. A lot of public schools have filters that automatically block any emails containing "inappropriate" words like "sexual." It's a bit ridiculous, but we want to make sure your request goes through! Please let me know if you have any questions or have further complications with this request.
