To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the North Carolina Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

Compensation data for all employees of the Raleigh, NC Police Department for the most recent year in which complete data are available (preferably 2020).

Specifically, I request that these data include, for each employee: Name, Job Title, Earnings (required), and age, gender, ethnicity, and hire date (if available).

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days.

You submitted a public records request, seeking "compensation data for all employees of the Raleigh, NC Police Department for the most recent year in which complete data are available (preferably 2020). Pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 160A-168, the attached spreadsheet contains the information with respect to each city employee that is a matter of public record and may be produced.
