Pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
FOIA logs for years 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Procurement Services is researching the requested records and will reply within the five (5) working day period as specified by the Freedom of Information Act §2.2-3704(B).
Also, we will inform you in advance if the estimated cost of responding to this request exceeds $50, and will require a deposit if the estimated cost of responding exceeds $200.

In response to your FOIA request for FOIA logs for years 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, the Department of Procurement Services is continuing to collect the requested data. This correspondence is to inform you that it is not possible to provide the requested records or determine whether they are available within the initial five (5) work day period due to the volume of files being researched. Therefore, pursuant to §2.2-3704(B) (4) of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended, the City will avail itself of an additional seven (7) working days in which to provide a response to your request by: September 23, 2020, with the goal to have it to you earlier.

Per Virginia Freedom of Information Act § 2.2-3704., Section A:
Except as otherwise specifically provided by law, all public records shall be open to citizens of the Commonwealth, representatives of newspapers and magazines with circulation in the Commonwealth, and representatives of radio and television stations broadcasting in or into the Commonwealth during the regular office hours of the custodian of such records.
