From: Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority

Mr. Nash,

I write in response to your FOIA request received by RRHA on November 28, 2018. In your request, you identified the following documents:

(1) All documents that outline RRHA's procedure for responding to City of Richmond code enforcement notices.
(2) All code enforcement correspondence received between Jan. 1, 2018 and the time this request is processed.
(3) Any log or index of code enforcement response, including the date a violation was received, nature of the issue and the date when it was resolved.
In response to request (1)-RRHA does not maintain a policy or other written document which outlines our procedure for responding to code enforcement notices. Generally speaking, there is no standardized procedure and RRHA's exact response will vary depending on the nature of the citation and the RRHA department(s) concerned.

In response to request (2)-attached are what I am informed are all code violation letters issued to RRHA by the City of Richmond to date in the calendar year 2018. RRHA does not maintain any record indicating if or when the cited violations were addressed.

In response to request (3)-RRHA does not maintain a log or index of any responses to City code citations, aside from maintaining copies of the Notices of Violation themselves. As you can see, we do not receive a great volume of these Notices, and our response is therefore fairly informal.
Best,
