Curtis,
Per your May 25, 2017 data request, I am providing the department's response:
o I have attached Roseville Police Department Policy 101 Use of Force. OC Spray and/or ASR is addressed in Section 5C of the attachment. All department sworn officers, community service officers and reserve officers receive ASR once they receive training. Specific to storage: Employees carry their assigned ASR on their duty belt and when not on their duty belt the ASR is typically stored in the employee's locker. Information related to ASR deployment is addressed in policy.
o The department has no violation(s) of department policy specific to ASR use during the time period you requested.
o The department has no complaints from citizens reference an officers use of ASR.
o No officer has been disciplined for any ASR violation/misuse.
Please acknowledge receipt of this e-mail and attachment.
Sincerely,
Lorne Rosand
