Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code ยงยง 6250), I hereby request the following records:
We are looking for all documents related to Salinas, California's contract with Sungard to purchase TRAKit software, including the original contract, the date, implementation and maintenance costs, total cost, contract duration, and all services rendered.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

This is response to your letter mailed to the City's Planning Commission on July 11, 2017, and received by the City on July 17, 2017. In your letter you are requesting documents related to the City's contract with Sungard to purchase TRAKit software. This is e-mail is in response to your request under the California Public Records Act.
The City of Salinas do not have any contract with Sungard for the purchase of a TRAKIT software system.
We do however, entered in August 2006, into a contract with CRW Associates, a d.b.a. CRW Systems, Inc. for the installation of a Permit Management, Code Enforcement, Business License Tracking and Project Tracking software. The contract included data conversion, training and remote access support during the annual maintenance period.
The first document attached includes a copy of the City's Resolution and the contract including the date of execution and a list of implementation and maintenance costs. The second document includes all checks issued to CRW Systems since the project inception.
This fulfills the City's obligation with respect to your request.
