Pursuant to the California's Sunshine Amendment (Cal. Const. Art. I, § 3(b)), I hereby request the following records:
Any communication in 2014 and 2015 between the Mayor's office, or other San Diego city officials, and representatives of the San Diego Chargers NFL team or of the National Football League (NFL), especially those in regards to the team's lease or their potential move to another city.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

This e-mail is to inform you that the City Clerk's Office has received your Public Records Act requests of July 16, 2015 reflecting your request for: Listed communications during 2014 and 2015 including those in regard to the team's lease or their potential move to another city.
This office follows City procedures in processing such requests. The initial step in those procedures is to forward a request to City Administration, which then assigns it to the appropriate responsible department for action. Once your request has been assigned, you should hear from the individual who is responding to it and they will advise you as to any costs for providing responsive documents.
Please be aware that it may not be staff from the City Clerk's Office who will be responding.
