SDPD Media Identification Cards

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

All written policies in affect between January 1, 2018 and January 11, 2024 regarding or relating to how Court staff use or rely upon Media Identification cards issued by the San Diego Police Department to control access by members of the press to courthouses.

All written policies in effect between January 1, 2018 and January 11, 2024 regarding or relating to how Court staff use or reli upon Media Identification cards issued by the San Diego Police Department to determine if individuals are permitted to use recording devices, cameras, or other electronic equipment in various locations within courthouses, including in courtrooms.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
