Pursuant to the the California Public Records Act § 6250 seq & Sunshine ordinance, I hereby request the following records:

I am requesting immediate disclosure of SFPD's Revised FY 20-21 and FY 21-22 Budget Submission Summary of Major Changes.

For reference, an example of the document in question for other law enforcement-related department, DAO and PD's office, are found on page 1-5 here [https://sf.gov/sites/default/files/2020-06/DAT.pdf] and pg 1-6 here [https://sf.gov/sites/default/files/2020-06/PDR.pdf].

This should be a simple request because this document ought to have been submitted to the controller already.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request be filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or USB external drive if not. I would also be happy to review this document in person during business hours in accordance with the CPRA and Sunshine request.

It is our understanding that because the Police Commission did not approve the SFPD Revised Budget Proposal, the document you are requesting has not been submitted to our Office or the Mayor’s Budget Office.

This website hosts all the revised budget documents ( https://sf.gov/resource/2020/budget-information-by-department ) and SFPD lists a presentation<https://sf.gov/sites/default/files/2020-02/Police_Proposed%20Budget_FY21%20and%20FY22.pdf> on their revised budget, but not the actual document.
