To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code ยงยง 6250), I hereby request the following records:

I am requesting data from San Francisco's Election Day Incident Reporting Information System ("IRIS"). Specifically, I am requesting all readily-available information, including but not limited to date, polling place location, and description of the reported incident, about any and all incidents related to voter-registration whether online, by mail or in-person between the dates of January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2016.

I am requesting this information from the database "IRIS," which is housed in San Francisco's Elections department according to the public catalog of datasets listed on the website data.sfgov.org https://data.sfgov.org/City-Management-and-Ethics/Inventory-of-citywide-enterprise-systems-of-record/ebux-gcnq/data#.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. I'm making this request on the behalf of a journalism organization (Peninsula Press at Stanford Journalism) and believe the request is in the public interest. The requested
documents will be made available to the general public free of charge at the Peninsula Press.

Because I am making this request on behalf of a journalism organization, I request a fee waiver. In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not. Should you need to, please contact me via email at corsea@stanford.edu.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Alexa Corse
