Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code §§ 6250), I hereby request the following records:
Any and all documents and internal correspondence relating to the Executive Order titled "Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States" and subsequent associated protests at SFO.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

This letter responds to your Public Records Request received by the Mayor’s office via email on February 8, 2017. In your request, you ask for the following from the Mayor’s Office:
“Any and all documents and internal correspondence relating to the Executive Order titled ‘Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States’ and subsequent associated protests at SFO.”
Response dated February 21, 2017:
With regard to your request, we have not yet completed our review of all responsive records and are invoking an extension of not more than 14 days pursuant to California Government Code § 6253(c)(3) due to the need to consult with another City department. We will endeavor to respond to you as quickly as possible, and no later than Saturday, March 4, 2017.
Please note, the Mayor’s Office did not receive any request from you prior to February 8, 2017.
Finally, please note that we are responding on behalf of the Mayor’s Office only and only with respect to records in the possession of this Office.

Response dated March 6, 2017:
On February 21, 2017, with regard to your request, our office invoked an extension of not more than 14 days pursuant to California Government Code § 6253(c)(3) due to the need to consult with another City department. We have now completed our search.
Attached please find electronic copies of records in the possession of the Mayor’s Office responsive to your request.
You will note that we have redacted personal contact information (home address, personal phone number, personal email address) from these documents in order to protect the individual's right to privacy. (See California Constitution, Article I, section 1, California Government Code Sections 6250, 6254(c) and 6254(k), and San Francisco Administrative Code Section 67.1(g).)
