Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code ยงยง 6250), I hereby request the following records:
We are looking for all documents related to Santa Barbra, California's contract with Accela to purchase Accela Tidemark software, including the original contract, the date, implementation and maintenance costs, total cost, contract duration, and all services rendered.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Dear Ms. Desmond,
We have received your request for records under the California Public Records Act.
I have attached all of the City's contract documents related to Tidemark that are available in electronic format. Please note that the City purchased the Tidemark application prior to Accela's acquisition of the company and its products, and therefore the City does not have an original contract with Accela for this purchase.
There are an additional 179 paper documents that can be produced at a cost of $.10 per page, or a total of $17.90. You stated in your request that you would like a quote prior to the production of records that require payment of a fee. Please advise if you would still like copies made of these documents. Alternatively, the documents can be made available for your viewing at City Hall at no cost. Due to the volume of the documents you have requested, the City will require additional time to produce copies of the paper records if you would like to proceed with the request.
We also need clarification of your request for "all services rendered." Please specify the documents you are requesting for this category.

Thank you, I really appreciate your help. It would also be great to see the original contract between Tidemark and the city if you have it? I am a student and I am on a shoestring budget, so I can't pay for the extra copies.

Thank you for clarifying your request.
The original contract between the City and Tidemark is 11 pages, or $1.10 for copies, as allowed under the California Public Records Act.
