To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

(1) A list of all individuals processed who did not have a permanent address at the time of death (homeless individuals)
(2) Autopsy records and coroner's notes of previously stated individuals

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Good morning,

Your request was received, can you please clarify the time frame you are requesting for this list? Autopsy reports are $8.00 each, I will calculate the cost as soon as the list is generated and prior to fulfilling your request. We can send you the list at no cost to you; however fee's will apply to Autopsy reports. For Coroner's notes, what type of notes are you looking for? Specific to the Investigator gathering information or the Medical Examiner during the medical examination?
