Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

Recent news reports show that police routinely obtain evidence (including video) from Tesla vehicles: https://www.officer.com/vehicles-fleet/vehicles-equipment/vehicles/news/55137753/california-police-using-warrants-to-obtain-video-evidence-from-teslas

Therefore, I request the following:

- Any guidance, including handbooks, presentations, legal memos, forms, procedures, rules, informal guides, presentations, or email information about obtaining evidence from Tesla vehicles (including from “Sentry Mode.”)

The documents will be used in the course of reporting for 404 Media, an independent technology publication.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
