Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

1) Any and all records reflecting data collected and recorded by the Police Department in accordance with the California Racial and Identity Profiling Act (RIPA) from January 1, 2024, through the present. Please provide the raw data in excel or csv format.

2) Any and all reports, records, and analyses created by, for, or at the direction of, the City/Town that pertain to any RIPA data that has been collected by the Police Department since January 1, 2024.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

If the City determines it is in possession of disclosable public records, the records will be provided electronically free of charge. Request for paper copies of releasable public record must be accompanied by fees to cover copying cost at $0.25 per page.
