To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to RCW Ch. 42.56 (Public Records Act), I hereby request the following records:
All current contracts, permits, and other agreements with participants of the Free-Floating Car Share program, including, but not limited to, Car2Go and BMW/DriveNow.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Kevin Wallace

This is to acknowledge your public disclosure request below.
As I am sure you can appreciate, your request will require a search through a great number of files. I anticipate any responsive records will be ready on or about April 18th. If there are documents within the scope of your request that must be withheld they will be identified, along with the legal authority authorizing that withholding.
Please note the Public Disclosure Act requires agencies to provide currently maintained and identifiable records. Requests for information and/or creating new records, such as reports, charts, graphs or lists are not covered under the Public Disclosure Act.
Please understand that I have access to SDOT files only. I am responding for the Department of Transportation and not for the City as a whole. If you believe other City departments may have records that you also want, please send a request directly to them. A link to a listing of all City Departments and their functions is below:

Pursuant to the Seattle Municipal Code, copying charges are 15¢ for each standard-sized page. If you wish to have the documents mailed to you, applicable postage will be applied. Records maintained and provided electronically via email are not subject to this fee.
Sincerely,
Charice Pennie
