To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Disposition reports for cases involving Vallejo Police officers who have arrested defendants on firearms-related charges from August 1st, 2015 to the date of this request. As your website stipulates, these cases should be designated with cases beginning in "V, VC or VCR" and include sections 29800, 25400, 25850 of the California Penal Code, along with others. Any annual listing or report that shows the disposition of these cases broken down by arresting department should be included in this request.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.
