Pursuant to the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley's email correspondence with her staff regarding the Charleston, South Carolina church shooting and any of the governor's correspondence with staff about the Confederate flag located outside the South Caroline statehouse from June 17, 2015 to June 24, 2015. Specifically, I request email correspondence on the above topics between the governor and her chief of staff, James Burns, her deputy chief of staff, Rob Godfrey, and her press secretary, Chaney Adams.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 15 business days, as the statute requires.
