Pursuant to the California's Sunshine Amendment (Cal. Const. Art. I, § 3(b)), I hereby request the following records:
All police dispatch logs and/or case reports generated since December 1, 2007 pertaining to any complaints or incidents that occurred at the drug and alcohol rehabilitation facilities located at 586 Glorene Ave. South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. This facility is currently registered under the name "Narconon Emerald Pines" but has also been known to operate at this location under the following business names:
Emerald Pines
Emerald Pines Drug Rehab
Narconon South Tahoe
Narconon Vista Bay Tahoe
Vista Bay Tahoe Drug Rehab
Narconon Northern California
Halcyon Horizons
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest due to the numerous civil lawsuits currently pending against this controversial Scientology-based drug rehab franchise for allegations of negligence, fraud, breach of contract, etc. Disclosure of the records I am seeking will greatly aid the public's understanding of what is happening at this non-profit organization, and how public service agencies operate when dealing with such a facility. Additionally, the requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I have researched the address above, the business known as Narconon, and
have found the Events/Reports that are in our system will be a cost
$143.00. This cost includes false fire alarms and 911 hang ups. If you
are not interested in the false alarms nor the 911 hang ups then the
cost goes down to $42.00.
Mostly the system shows Events at this address and one report that will
need to be redacted.
Your request will be filled out with hard copies and not electronically
so please provide me with an address to send the paperwork.
Send the check to the address below or you can call with a credit card
number and I will process your request asap.

Part of my interest in these records relates to evaluating the impact the facilities in this drug rehab franchise have on local police and EMS services. So I do wish to receive all Events/Records including the false fire alarms and 911 hang ups.
