Pursuant to the Georgia Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

Current understanding is the Spalding County Magistrate Court administers the oath of office for officers with the Griffin Police Department.

Please provide a copy of the oath of office administered to the four (4) following Griffin Police Department officers:

1) Joseph Hudson, hire date 11/13/2000

2) John Daniel Jett, hire date 7/7/2003

3) James Cary Jackson, hire date 7/7/2003

4) Christopher Webb, hire date 3/18/2002

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

As noted in this article, the Spalding County Magistrate Court clearly keeps copies. Please stop trying to avoid following the law by intentionally delaying requests.
