Records sufficient to show the names, badge numbers, respective dates, and the type of time off of all police officers and/or employees who requested any personal time off, vacation days, personal days, furlough days, or any other time off for the dates of, on, or between Jan 3, 2021 and January 9, 2021 AS WELL AS requests made for time off for the dates of, on, or between Jan 17, 2021 and January 23, 2021.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

Clarification of your request is needed in order for City staff to proceed with searching for and compiling the specific records you seek.  Your request states:  "Records sufficient to show the names, badge numbers, respective dates, and the type of time off of all police officers and/or employees who request any personal time off..."  As your request was submitted to the Police Department, we understand your request to be pertaining to that specific Department.  If we have misunderstood, please clarify.  When you state "all police officers and/or employees," what do you mean?  Both Spokane Police Department (SPD) officers and civilian SPD employees have badge numbers.  Do you mean you are seeking records for uniformed officers only?  Or do you mean you are seeking "Records sufficient to show the names, badge numbers..."  for all uniformed officers and civilian employees of the Spokane Police Department? You or your organization or business has made a public records request for a list of individuals from the City of Spokane. The Washington State Public Records Act (PRA) at RCW 42.56.070(8) provides that:
"This chapter shall not be construed as giving authority to any agency… to give, sell or provide access to lists of individuals requested for commercial purposes, and agencies… shall not do so unless specifically authorized or directed by law…"
