Records sufficient to show the names, badge numbers, respective dates, and the type of time off of all police officers and/or employees who requested any personal time off, vacation days, personal days, furlough days, or any other time off for the dates of, on, or between Jan 3, 2021 and January 9, 2021 AS WELL AS requests made for time off for the dates of, on, or between Jan 17, 2021 and January 23, 2021.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

This letter is to clarify what information that you are seeking:
Please clarify if you are requesting these records for all Tacoma Police Department employees for said dates.
You may provide a response by responding to this email. Please provide clarification by January 21, 2021. If we do not receive clarification by this date, we will assume our interpretation accurately describes the records you are seeking.
In the meantime, we will attempt to locate and assemble records responsive to the clear portion of your request and to determine whether any of the documents are exempt from disclosure. We will update you on the status of your request and/or provide records on or before January 22, 2021.

The first installment of responsive records to your request have been compiled.  To download the records to your request, click here: Public Records Center. Please note, the records in the first installment are only what has been entered into Police Department employee timecards as of the date of your request, not necessarily all days that have been requested due to 01/03/2021-01/09/2021 falling within the current pay period, which has not yet been finalized.
