Mr. Hoover,
Per our previous communication, this Office received your below public records request on January 23, 2023. It is our understanding you are seeking Bulletins generated by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation ("TBI") and disseminated by the Tennessee Fusion Center during the period of July 1, 2022-December 31, 2022. Please see attached responsive record.
Further, please be advised another Bulletin was generated by the TBI during the requested period; however, we are unable to provide this record. This denial is based on T.C.A. § 10-7-504(a)(2)(A), which states in part, "All investigative records of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation...shall be treated as confidential and shall not be open to inspection by members of the public."
For the reasons outlined herein, your request is denied in part.
