According to a press release on April 12, 2021, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, in coordination with the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security, contracted to deploy CopLinkX software from Forensic Logic: https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/tennessee-to-deploy-forensic-logic-s-coplink-x-law-enforcement-information-sharing-platform-statewide-1030295108
Pursuant to the Tennessee Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
All agency contracts, licenses, MOUs, letters of intent, State of Work documents, Scope of Work documents, and other agreement documents with Forensic Logic or ShotSpotter for the use of CopLink software.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 7 business days, as the statute requires.

On March 13, 2023, this Office received your public records request. Based on the information provided, it is our understanding you are seeking any and all contracts entered into between the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Forensic Logic or Shotspotter for the use of Coplink. Attached please find records responsive to your request. Please note that a change in ownership to Shotspotter required a new vendor ID assignment and is the only change reflected in the Amendment document.
