Pursuant to the Tennessee Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Documents sufficient to demonstrate all sources of funding, including State of Tennessee funding and Federal funding, for fiscal year 2020, 2021, and 2022 for the Tennessee Fusion Center.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 7 business days, as the statute requires.

Mr. Hoover,
On March 13, 2023, this Office received your public records request. While the provided description is broad in nature, it is our understanding you are seeking documents containing a list or description of funding, from both State and federal sources, attributed to the Tennessee Fusion Center in fiscal year 2020, 2021 and 2022.
After reviewing your request, please be advised we do not maintain records described in your request. Pursuant to T.C.A. § 10-7-503(a)(4), a governmental entity is not required to "sort through files to compile information into a new record or to create or recreate a record that does not exist." However, we have conducted a query to determine non-grant funding for each requested year and created a document to assist with your request. Please see the attached which reflects non-grant funding totals for the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation only.
With respect to grant funding, please be advised we do not maintain records responsive to your request. If you are seeking a copy of each grant(s), please provide clarification. It should be noted that while a portion of grant funds may be allocated to various programs within the Tennessee Fusion Center, the grant(s) may not be Tennessee Fusion Center specific.
