To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

All reports of alleged child abuse reported by staff at Timberlawn Behavioral Health System. I am seeking records for the 2016 calendar year.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Hello, Evan,

It seems this request below would be netted by your earlier open records request (ORR#13737) in which you request "all reports of alleged abuse reported by staff at Timberlawn Behavioral Health System" for the years 2000 - 2016. Is there something different you would expect to see for this request, or are you narrowing the scope of your earlier records request?

Hello, Evan,

Regarding your two recent open records requests relating to incident reports/reports of alleged abuse at Timberlawn Behavioral Health System, we do not have any responsive documents. Background for you: Hospitals do not submit "incident reports" to us. If you are seeking copies of hospital complaints, those are confidential in accordance with HSC 577.013(d) and a prior AG ruling (see attached). Additionally, any reports of alleged abuse reported by staff would be received/entered as complaints and would be confidential.
