Mary Kathryn (May) Sherrer Incarceration

Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

All information regarding the incarceration of Mary Kathryn Sherrer (birthdate March 22, 1946) in 1984 in Midland County Jail, specifically in August of that year, but likely other months as well.

A few notes to assist with searching:
- Her full name is "Mary Kathryn," but she typically went by Kathy.
- I believe her name at the time of incarceration was Sherrer, but previous last names include Blake and May. She may have been booked under any of these last names.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Okay—Did the Texas Department of Criminal Justice oversee the Midlands County Jail in 1983/1984, or would those records be housed elsewhere?

I want to make sure I'm submitting my request to the right location, since the TX Department of Public Safety shows she was in custody with the "Department of Criminal Justice Huntsville" (ORI TX236065C) in both 1984 and 1985, personal ID number 385482.
