Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
I am requesting any and all body-worn camera footage, dash camera footage, police reports, dispatch audio, and supplemental documentation associated with the high-speed chase involving Marie Schneider that occurred on November 14, 2024. The incident began in Comal County and ended at the Alamo Quarry in San Antonio, Bexar County.
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) was involved in the pursuit. The subject, Marie Schneider (37), allegedly struck several vehicles and assaulted a State Trooper during the incident. She was arrested on-site and faces multiple charges including assault on a peace officer and driving while intoxicated.
If your agency possesses records from any involved Troopers, please include:
Body-worn camera footage from troopers at the scene
In-car dash camera video of the pursuit and/or arrest
911 call or dispatch audio referencing the pursuit or arrest
Arrest report, incident report, use of force report, or offense narrative
Any booking photos and charge summaries filed at the time of arrest
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
