Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
I am requesting all available records from a DPS-led pursuit and arrest that occurred on January 22, 2025, involving Nicholas Noel Rubio. The incident began near Rabensteins Drive and McNutt Road in Sunland Park, New Mexico, and proceeded into El Paso, Texas, reaching speeds up to 120 mph. DPS troopers were involved in the pursuit and apprehended Rubio near Santa Fe Street.
The records I seek include:
Body-worn camera footage from any troopers involved in the pursuit or arrest
In-car dash camera video from DPS patrol units
Audio dispatch communications or 911 records
Offense/arrest report(s) and use of force documentation
Any available drone footage or air support video (if applicable)
Booking records or charge summaries filed against Nicholas Noel Rubio
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
