Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act , I hereby request the following records:

Copies of all material in the state employee personnel file of Mary Ferrell, a Dallas woman who passed away in 2004. This is a link to her obituary in The Dallas Morning News, http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/dallasmorningnews/obituary.aspx?n=mary-elizabeth-mchughes-ferrell&pid=1958846

I believe Mrs. Ferrell worked in the administration of Gov. Dolph Briscoe and that she may have worked in Briscoe's Houston office, perhaps in 1974. Her Social Security number was 408-22-2876.

Mrs. Ferrell gained recognition for her research into the assassination of President Kennedy. The Mary Ferrell Foundation, which houses material about the assassination and other events, is named in her honor.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
