Ms. Cadostin,
This email seeks to narrow or clarify your request to avoid the production of and potential charges for responsive information that you are not interested in receiving. Additionally, clarifying or narrowing the scope of your public information request can assist the OOG in providing responsive information to you more quickly and potentially avoid the need for a decision from the Office of the Attorney General.
Your request, in part, seeks records pertaining to a named official in the Secretary of State’s Office. We note the OOG does not ordinarily maintain documents held by other state agencies. You can submit a formal public information request directly to the Secretary of State using the information found here: https://www.sos.texas.gov/records.shtml#:~:text=All%20Other%20Public%20Information%20Requests&text=You%20may%20also%20contact%20the,%2D877%2D673%2D6839.
Your narrowing or clarification of this request does not preclude you from making future requests for additional information. After we receive your response, we can begin a search of our records for the information you are seeking. If the OOG does not receive a response from you by the 61st day after the date this email is sent, your request will be considered withdrawn. See Gov’t Code § 552.222(d), (g). The withdrawal of your request does not preclude you from requesting the same or other information in the future. You can reach us at publicrecords@gov.texas.gov<mailto:publicrecords@gov.texas.gov> with any questions.
Sincerely,

Hello,
Thank you for your response. I'd like to narrow the request to electronic records from just Governor Greg Abbott and all staff that report directly to him. Please let me know if there is any other information I can provide.
My best,
Victoria

Ms. Cadostin,
This email seeks to further narrow or clarify your request to avoid the production of and potential charges for responsive information that you are not interested in receiving. Additionally, clarifying or narrowing the scope of your public information request can assist the OOG in providing responsive information to you more quickly and potentially avoid the need for a decision from the Office of the Attorney General. Please respond to the following request for additional clarification or narrowing.
* Your request as currently stated is likely to produce records that are voluminous and involve a number of unrelated subjects. Based upon the subject of your request, we understand you to seek records related to voting issues involving citizenship. Are you willing to narrow your request to include the specified key terms, but only in the context of voting issues involving citizenship?
Your narrowing or clarification of this request does not preclude you from making future requests for additional information.
