Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Please provide records of any and all stop data collected by Tiburon Police Department for transmittal to the Department of Justice in accordance with the Racial and Identity Profiling Act, from January 1, 2022 through April 30, 2024. The records should be provided in an Excel spreadsheet or other delimited text format of electronic documentation that complies with the Interface Specifications of the Department of Justice. Cal. Code of Regs, Art. 5, Sec. 999.228.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Dear Lea Dilena, Town Clerk,
Mill Valley also uses this service but realized that RIPALogt was maintaining the documents as an agent of the city and that the city was therefore obligated to provide the data as reported to the State of California DOJ under AB953. If the full data set is not being received and used by the Tiburon PD, it will be a surprising lack of concern for racial equality in Tiburon.
Please provide stop data collected by Tiburon Police Department as transmitted to the Department of Justice in accordance with the Racial and Identity Profiling Act, from January 1, 2022 through April 30, 2024
