CORA Request – Arrest of Erlene Hernandez – July 10, 2024

Pursuant to the Colorado Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

According to reports, Ms. Hernandez was arrested after arriving at the scene of a crash she was not involved in and subsequently engaged in allegedly obstructive and assaultive behavior toward responding officers. This request is made in the public interest to provide transparency into the police response and arrest procedures in a volatile, multi-charge incident.

I am not requesting these records for commercial purposes and therefore respectfully request a waiver of all applicable fees. If any portion of this request is denied, please cite the specific statutory exemption under CORA and provide redacted versions where possible. I request that all responsive records be provided in digital format.
