Pursuant to the Oklahoma Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
- All text messages sent by Officer Ronnie Carrocia on Oct. 25, 2021 during or regarding the arrest of LaDonna Paris
- Any text messages sent by Officer DayLan Root on Oct. 25, 2021 during or regarding the arrest of LaDonna Paris
For reference, body camera footage from that day of the arrest of LaDonna Paris shows Officer Root texting multiple times during the incident. See time stamps 25:15 and 29:00 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nw_kTetA_Y
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
