Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

I am submitting this Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request under 5 U.S.C. § 552 as part of a policy research project examining the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data analytics in federal workforce evaluation and monitoring. This request is being made to gather publicly available information on AI-driven workforce management tools and policy discussions related to their implementation.

Requested Records:

1. Documents discussing the use of AI in federal workforce monitoring & evaluation
- Any memos, reports, internal emails, or policy discussions related to AI, machine learning, or predictive analytics used for employee performance tracking, workforce assessments, or compliance monitoring.
- Any internal or external studies commissioned by OPM, DOJ, or EOUSA regarding the use of AI to optimize or evaluate employee performance.

2. Contracts, agreements, or procurement records related to AI-driven workforce tools
- Any vendor contracts, third-party technology procurements, or government-developed AI tools used for workforce compliance and evaluation.
- Documentation on any partnerships with private sector firms, universities, or think tanks to research or implement AI in workforce monitoring.

3. Legal & policy discussions regarding AI in workforce compliance
- Any legal opinions, Attorney General reviews, or internal agency discussions on whether AI-driven workforce evaluations align with federal hiring protections under 5 U.S.C. § 2301 and due process requirements under 5 U.S.C. § 7701.
- Any assessments on the ethical implications of using AI in workforce evaluations, including any risk evaluations related to bias or disparate impact.

I request records from January 1, 2024, to the present in electronic format (PDF or machine-readable format). If any records are withheld, please provide a Vaughn Index listing the withheld documents and the exemption(s) claimed.

This request is part of an independent policy research project analyzing the integration of AI in federal workforce operations.
