Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Dear FOIA Officer,
Under the Freedom of Information Act (5 U.S.C. 552), I request access to and copies of all records, including but not limited to electronic records, emails, correspondence, meeting notes, and other communications involving Mike Cernovich, Jack Posobiec, and any career or political officials within the Department of State during the administration of President Donald Trump (January 20, 2017, to January 20, 2021).
Please include all relevant documents that detail communications, meetings, and correspondences with these individuals, as well as any notes, agendas, or mentions of them in communications with Department of State officials. I am interested in understanding the nature and extent of their interactions with the Department of State during this period.
I understand that there may be fees for this request and would appreciate it if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. Please notify me prior to your incurring any expenses in excess of $1000.
If my request is denied in whole or part, I ask that you justify all deletions by reference to specific exemptions of the act. I will also expect you to release all segregable portions of otherwise exempt material. I reserve the right to appeal your decision to withhold any information or to deny a waiver of fees.
As I am making this request in the public interest, for the purpose of disseminating information regarding the public activities and operations of the U.S. Department of State to the general public, I request that you waive any fees associated with the processing of this request.
Please respond to this request within 20 business days, as outlined by the statute. Thank you for your consideration of this request.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
