Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
1) All management studies, reports, proposals, and related records pertaining to the creation of the Senior Executive Service (SES) position called Principal Director to the Inspector General for Inspections (PDTIGI) in approximately 2009;
2) All records pertaining to the hiring process(es) and successful applicant(s) of each PDTIGI vacancy;
3) All records pertaining to the duties and responsibilities of the PDTIGI, from creation of the position to the date this request is processed;
4) Copies of all orders delegating, re-delegating, or un-delegating any authorities of The Inspector General (TIG) to PDTIGI, from creation of the position to the date this request is processed;
5) Copies of all orders delegating, re-delegating, or un-delegating any authorities of Deputy The Inspector General (DTIG) to PDTIGI, from creation of the position to the date this request is processed; and
6) Copies of all orders delegating, re-delegating, or un-delegating any authorities of PDTIGI to another official, from creation of the position to the date this request is processed.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

This is an interim response to your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request received on June 9, 2018, seeking Army Inspector General records. Your request has been placed in the complex que due to the volume of records that may have to be reviewed in response to your request.
The Army IG Records Release Office receives a large volume of FOIA requests and cannot always respond to requests as quickly as we would like. Accordingly, we make it our practice to respond to FOIA request in the order received. The approximate date of completion on your request is December 10, 2018 or it could take longer. The actual processing time will depend upon the number of prior requests, as well as the complexity and volume of documents to be reviewed for each request received before yours.
