Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
A copy of any spreadsheets or logs that documented unauthorized grazing use, i.e. trespass, on BLM-administered grazing lands in Nevada that occurred during the year 2024. This request seeks records produced by the BLM Nevada state office, and/or its field offices. It seeks a spreadsheet or copy of the databases or logs for all reports of unauthorized use that occurred between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024. For an example of the type of documents I seek, see the attached document.
I am a reporter for High Country News. All data received will be used to inform the public about the federal grazing program.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
