This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

Copies of contracts with Booz Allen Hamilton over the past 5 years.
Any final reports generated and delivered by Booz Allen Hamilton to the agency over the past 5 years

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Similar requests were submitted to dozens of agencies with the exact same language. It seeks specific, limited documents generated over a specific time period. These documents, which are contracts, should be organized and easily pulled by the appropriate departments. Please re-process and fulfill this request, and provide me with appeal instructions.

I checked the status of this case and it was closed on 3-15-2013. You were informed of this in the letter that was sent to you on that date. You were also informed by e-mail on 5-16-2013. If you wish to obtain records from the U.S. Department of State you will need to submit a new request. When you do a new case number will be generated.

Please reference the old case number in your new request in case the team reviewing the material needs to access information from the old case file. I have contacted the Case Analyst and requested an estimated completion date for your case. The Analyst will contact the bureaus doing the searches and the individuals reviewing the material. This will take some time because each case is different. The search and review time varies. The time depends on the complexity of information requested and the time it takes to review the material.
