From: Sai
To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
The widely reported unclassified email(s) sent to OPM containing the first name and last initial of recent CIA hires.
See e.g.:
https://www.nytimes.com/2025/02/05/us/politics/cia-names-list.html
https://www.cnn.com/2025/02/05/politics/cia-sends-white-house-unclassified-email-names/index.html
Please provide these records in native electronic EML format, with all metadata such as email headers preserved. If you claim any part of a responsive record is exempt, please use blackout redaction without rasterization, and please provide ALL nonexempt parts, no matter how trivial (including e.g. literally every email header, punctuation mark, space, length, etc. that is not specifically exempt).
Please note that this request is made under FOIA only, not under the Privacy Act, and no Privacy Act waiver will be provided.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Sai
