computer facial recognition research

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

Copies of research proposals, papers, grants and reports produced by, administered by or involving Woodrow Wilson "Woody" Bledsoe.

Please search all logs of approved or reviewed research projects during the years of 1964 and 1965 for topics of research relating to human facial recognition. If appropriate to or useful in fulfilling this request, please consider that two of Bledsoe’s research colleagues may have been Helen Chan and Charles Bisso. Additionally, if appropriate to or useful in fulfilling this request, please consider that Bledsoe's research in facial recognition may have originated at Panoramic Research, Inc.

If certain requested materials are exempt from disclosure, please include an index of all exempted materials and the exemptions under which they are excluded, and please all release all segrable materials.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the open source software community and is made in the process of academic research and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
