Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
An electronic dump of all records in the database collecting accident reports filed by operators of small unmanned aerial systems, aka drones, under the rules found in Part 48 and Part 107.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Thank you for this link. I am not requesting "sightings." I am requesting accidents, which pilots are required to report under Part 107. It is described at the bottom of your agency's DroneZone site.

The authority for collecting the information provided on this form is codified at 49 U.S.C. § 44701 and §44807; see also FAA Modernization and Reform Act of 2012, Pub. L. 112-95 § 333, Special Rules for Certain Unmanned Aircraft Systems, and 14 C.F.R. § 107.9. The principal purpose for which the FAA intends to use the information is to receive and evaluate accident reports submitted to the FAA involving sUASs.
