* WildCAD Incident Cards
* INCIDENT RECORDS
Note: these may be helpful parameters for any incident reports:
Incident status closed, death of offender
Involvement: deceased
* Any weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual reports regarding deaths on public land managed by this agency

When completing this request, please prioritize whichever records would take the least amount of time to be located and released. I would like these records in electronic format, sent via email or other digital method, and again, please release documents on a rolling basis, as they become available.

If you determine that any of the information qualifies for an exemption from disclosure, I ask you to note whether the exemption is discretionary, and if so whether it is necessary in this case to exercise your discretion to withhold the information. In any event, please provide a signed notification citing the legal authorities on which you rely if you determine that any of the information is exempt and will not be disclosed.

Also, I am a member of the news media as a reporter for Business Insider, and the requested documents are in the public interest and not being made for commercial purposes. Therefore, I ask that all fees are waived in the processing of my request. If fees associated with this request will be in excess of $25, kindly notify me in advance of fulfilling this request. Good afternoon Ms. Beckler,

Thank you for your email regarding the status of your FOIA request 2024-FS-WO-02457-F. I am actively work through my request queue. There are 49 requests ahead of yours although my entire working queue includes over fifty requests total.

Per DOJ and USDA policy, FOIA requests are to be processed on a first-in first-out basis. Due to recent workload redistribution in the WO FOIA Service Center, some additional requests, that are older than yours, have been reassigned to me for processing. This additional workload may impact the response timeline for your FOIA request but I am continually processing requests as efficiently as possible.

We understand that the requested records are of high interest to you and I personally thank you for your patience as the WO FOIA Service Center works through a backlog of more than 500 FOIA requests at this time.
