The Department of Homeland Security called, and asked if requester would be willing to modify request to be from January to May 1st, 2009. Linda, with DHS, said that those materials had already been vetted and could be produced "much quicker." She noted she was available to talk 7:00 - 3:30 Eastern Time most days at 703-235-0790.

This is in response to the message left by Linda concerning my FOIA request for all DHS Cabinet Reports to White House after 7/7/09.
You requested that I limit my request to January through May 1st, 2009. However, this will not work as my interest is solely in those created after 7/7/09. If reviewing and redacting the requested reports is time consuming, I ask that you begin at the most recently created report and work backwards, providing me with interim releases as often as possible.
Thank you for your help.

Via phone, the FOIA officer said it is progressing, but sheer number of agencies has consumed a lot of time in terms of back and forth. For updates, you can call 1-703-235-2390. However, the upcoming Federal furlough.
