This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
All final audit reports for audits conducted of the DLA Disposition Services, Law Enforcement Support Office and any predecessors that administrated the 1033 program.
Given that this FOIA is submitted in my capacity as a journalist who has covered the DLA and the 1033 program extensively, I request that I be categorized as a media requester for the purpose of fees. Here is a selection of my published articles on MuckRock:

We have received your November 13, 2015 Freedom of Information Act request on November 13, 2015 and assigned it DLA FOIA Case Tracking # HQ DLA-16-HFOI-00025.
We process all requests on a "First-In, First-Out" queue basis. The Department of Defense has established three queues for FOIA requests: Expedited, Simple, and Complex. Your request has been assigned to the Complex queue. For requests within the Simple queue we strive to provide a final response within 20 business days. We have categorized you as media and are processing. To continue, we need you to narrow your search to specific audit dates " "all" final 1033 program audits is too broad. Also, your request is seeking any "predecessors" to the final audits. That is too broad for us to search in a non-random form. If you want us to provide any other documents, please specify the title of the documents you are seeking prior to the final audits.
Note: As stated in our earlier acknowledgement to you on November 13, 2015, please "forward" a copy of the original requests sent to our office as we have no other submissions from you.

Thank you for acknowledging this request. Please resend the Nov 13, 2015 communication by email, as I am unclear which communication you mean.
For the present FOIA, I agree to narrow my request as follows:
All final audit reports for audits conducted of the DLA Disposition Services, Law Enforcement Support Office from 2000 to the present, or as far back as such final audit reports are maintained.
To clarify, this request is not for audit reports conducted by LESO, but for audits of LESO and its programs.
Please let me know if the above clarifies things and narrows the request sufficiently.

You are combining several different FOIA requests. We (HQ) are handling your request for audits of LESO with tracking #16-HFOI-00025. The request for agencies enrolled in LESO (#15-MFOI-00017) is a separate request being handled by Disposition Services. We ask that you NOT combine the requests if you would like us to process as expeditiously as possible. To prevent further delays, when inquiring, please keep requests separately and do not cut and paste several different requests and responses together. If you do this, we will not be able to process and may require you to resubmit all requests separately to help us understand what is being requested.
We are still processing your requests and are endeavoring to provide a response to you as quickly as possible. We hope to have a response to you no later than January 27, 2016.
