From: Todd Feathers

Hello,

Would you care to explain why the tables labeled "Other Non-Cash Assets Received" and "Civil Rights Cases" were redacted? I'm quite interested to hear your justification seeing as how 1) every type of civil rights case that appears in the forms -- whether in the court system or otherwise -- is a public record 2) None of the 16 police departments that responded to identical requests redacted that information 3) There is no personal identifying information in those tables.

Anxiously awaiting word,
Todd Feathers

From: CRM FOIA

Mr. Feathers:

This responds to your email dated December 4, 2014, in which you posed questions concerning information redacted from documents responsive to FOIA Request No. CRM-300457037. If you are dissatisfied with this Office's response to your request, you may file an administrative appeal with the Department of Justice's Office of Information Policy, as described in this Office's final response letter dated December 3, 2014.
