Hi Ms. Holly Walter,

Here are some of the keywords to add to my request: "rule change", "creditor(s)", "freeze", "lender(s)", "loan(s)," "debtor(s)", "trump" and "reverse."

Please note that the "(s)" means to search for the singular and plural version of the words.

From: Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

Mr. Clark,

First, I apologize that I have not been in touch with you sooner. Second, please feel free to call me to discuss your option with this request.

Our preliminary search for records that are possibly responsive to your request yielded 1.87GB of data. Our acknowledgement of your request notified you that you were placed in the other category. It is estimated that it would take approximately 120 hours to search for all responsive records. Billable search and review costs at $23 per quarter hour would be $10,856.00. Based on this information, it is estimated that the overall fee to process your request will equal approximately $10,856.00.

Please confirm, in writing, your willingness to pay the total estimated processing fee of $10,856.00. Please send your written confirmation directly to this office within 30 days from the date of this letter.

In the alternative, you may narrow the scope of your request to reduce the universe of responsive records. If you wish to narrow the scope, please send an amended request and indicate the processing fee amount you are willing to pay within 30 days from the date of this letter.

You may send your agreement to pay estimated fees or your amended request via mail (address below), email (CFPB_FOIA@cfpb.gov) or fax (1-855-FAX-FOIA (329-3642)).

Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection

Once the BCFP receives written confirmation of you willingness to pay the total estimated processing fees or your amended request we will immediately begin processing the documents responsive to your request. In our final response to your FOIA request, we will adjust the processing fee as necessary to reflect the actual costs for search, review, and duplication if those fees do not match the estimated fees provided above.

If we do not receive written confirmation of your willingness to pay the total estimated processing fee amount of $10, 856.00 or an amended request within 30 days from the date of this letter, we will consider this request withdrawn, and we will administratively close your request file.

Please feel free to call me to discuss
