This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Any and all emails received from email addresses ending in @apple.com and @cov.com sent to lew.alcindor@usdoj.gov (or any other emails ex-Attorney General Eric Holder used). Also all emails sent from lew.alcindor@usdoj.gov (or any other emails ex-Attorney General Eric Holder used) to @apple.com and @cov.com. Limit responsive emails to those sent between 12/01/2008 and 09/14/16.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

We are continuing to process this request, but I wanted to reach out to you regarding the scope - your initial request gives parameters in the form of a date range, but in the interest of sorting through a voluminous amount of emails and getting you quicker results, could you provide a subject scope for your request as well? For instance, "email correspondence between former Attorney General Eric Holder and the email domains "@apple.com" and "@cov.com" between December 1, 2008, and September 14, 2016 pertaining to _________." This would be helpful, as we continue to process your request.

Could you focus the request to just @cov.com domain and remove the @apple.com from the request and let me know the scope (or volume) of how many emails that would need to sort through in order to asses the need to potentially focus the request further if needbe.

Removing "@apple.com" takes a small amount away - there are about 1,300 emails to sort through with that domain removed, without any sort of content parameters.
